In Progress Work Life Size Image Transfer of Stone Angel from a Charleston,SC Cemetery.
These are two drawing I did yesterday in a group setting. The WCAGA (Women’s Caucus for the Arts - Georgia) is hosting a drawing marathon (or open studios where artist create work together in various studios though out the year). I have to admit it was fun to make work in a group studio that was in no way connected to academia.
Not sure if these are final works or will be made into something else… or both.

New Work, Still in Progress… March 2012
I took photos of a few cemeteries in New Orleans and printed them on to old sermons of my grandfather’s from the 60’s and 70’s. Then, I scanned them from the back to achieve a faded feel to the images.
