Stone Angel still underway…

There has been heavy for all day (Oct. 18, 2012), I took advantage of this and photographed a cemetery near my house in GA. It is a cemetery for Mt. Zion Baptist Church, though, it is not next to the church. I turned my Digital Camera (Cannon Rebel XTI - 2005) to Black and White in order to take advantage of the fog.

I have been running though various ideas for creating a piece of art with an image of my childhood bicycle. This is where I landed. It is a faux, through the viewfinder, digital collage. I don’t know the size yet since the final is still in process and I ran out of ink. Fall 2012

New Work, Still in Progress… March 2012
I took photos of a few cemeteries in New Orleans and printed them on to old sermons of my grandfather’s from the 60’s and 70’s. Then, I scanned them from the back to achieve a faded feel to the images.
